KELSEY "KIKI" BEAMAN, MS

Counselor

Kiki Beaman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. Kiki is trained in play therapy, activity therapy, and talk therapy. Kiki is also an EMDR trained therapist and, when requested, integrates nature therapy into her work with clients. Her counseling experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stressors, various life adjustments, communication problems, self-esteem, parenting support, and more. Kiki currently works with children, teens and adults both in person and online to help them live more balanced and meaningful lives.

Kiki earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas, where she received extensive training for counseling teens, adults, families, and groups. While finishing her degree, Kiki completed her internship at Jewish Family Service in Dallas. She primarily met with clients at a satellite location in South Dallas called Jubilee Park where she worked with Latiné teens and their families. After receiving her degree, she continued her work at Jubilee Park and had the opportunity to work with the after-school program and summer camp.

Kiki is also an E-RYT 500. She completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 and her 500hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2018. When requested, Kiki has utilized yoga breathwork, poses and philosophy into her work with clients across the lifespan. She also holds a certification in Sound Healing where she uses crystal bowls and other sound instruments to help activate the body’s natural healing systems.

Kiki believes that people inherently want to move towards healing, but life is complex and things get mixed up along the way. She works to help clients move towards their most authentic and genuine selves. Within the counseling relationship, Kiki strives to help clients feel supported and empowered so they can explore themselves, their current circumstances, their past experiences, and their future aspirations. She believes that people are the experts of their own lives but sometimes need a roadmap to help get back to where they want to be.

When not counseling, Kiki enjoys doing Crossfit, yoga, hiking and traveling. However, her favorite thing to do is to hang out with her husband and child.
