
Aaron Helm
Aaron Helm is a practicum student counselor completing his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health at Amberton University and is under the supervision of Josh Hawkins, PhD at Bright Spot Counseling Center. Aaron is actively pursuing specialization as a Registered Play Therapist. Aaron's approach is rooted in the belief that healthy, secure relationships are the most powerful catalyst for growth and change. His therapeutic orientation is a blend of Person/Child-Centered Therapy and Relational Psychodynamic Therapy.

When Aaron is not in the counseling office, he loves to spend quality time with his family, often traveling, going on walks, and enjoying simple play. He is a creative at heart, enjoying producing videos and diving into the technical details of camera gear. He loves being outside, whether he's rock climbing or simply enjoying a walk in nature. Aaron also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from East Texas A&M, providing him with a specialized understanding of corporate stress and organizational dynamics. This blend of business acumen and creative passion enables Aaron to truly meet clients where they are, whether you are a corporate executive seeking balance or a creative soul wrestling with big aspirations.
