Melissa’s focus includes helping clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s issues, relationship and family matters, grief, anger, loneliness, faith-related concerns, career uncertainty, and stressful life events. Melissa is a strengths-based, trauma-informed therapist and uses play, talk therapy, and EMDR to help her clients find their own path to peace, healing, and recovery.
Melissa facilitates our Women’s Empowerment Group, a bi-weekly meetup for women 25+ to talk about issues that affect and connect all women. Discussion topics include boundaries, people-pleasing, relationships, family dynamics, female friendships, and much more. If you are interested in joining, please feel free to contact Melissa directly by text or phone at 972-559-9183.

Outside of the therapy room, Melissa enjoys painting, reading by the pool, and connecting with family, friends, and pets. She practices the same self-care that she encourages for her clients, including spending time in nature, making time for rest and reflection, and occasionally belting out the 10-minute version of All Too Well.
