Kaylee first became passionate about the mental health field and working with adolescents during her undergraduate experience at Phoenix House Texas, a residential treatment center for adolescents struggling with substance use disorders.

Kaylee’s theoretical perspective is rooted in Adlerian Theory, which emphasizes social connection, belongingness, and encouragement towards becoming one's authentic self. Kaylee is passionate about curating a safe space for clients by providing a non-judgmental approach and meeting clients where they are.

Kaylee is most passionate about working with adolescent populations. Kaylee enjoys working with middle school to young adult populations, navigating life transitions, family conflict, and anxiety. She believes that emphasizing family engagement in therapy is crucial to client growth. She values conducting family sessions with clients to increase family connection. Although Kaylee has a passion for working with adolescents and their families, she is trained in working with individuals across the lifespan.

Outside of the therapy room, Kaylee enjoys spending time with her cat, Winter, attending concerts, and engaging in mindfulness exercise. She values practicing the self-care she encourages in her clients.
