Jeffrey Proctor is a Licensed Profession Counselor Intern under the supervision of Rochelle Ritzi, PhD. Jeffrey earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he graduated at the top of his class. Jeffrey has experience working with adults, adolescents, children, families, and groups. He worked at Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment as a Mental Health Technician providing care and support to children and adolescents who suffered severe trauma ages 5-17. Jeffrey also has experience working at an agency setting where he counseled children, adolescents, families, and has provided therapy for adolescent groups. Jefferey also counseled adults in the Community Counseling Center at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Jeffrey lived abroad for the first ten years of his life and has used his multiculturally rich experiences to connect with his clients. He is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. His multicultural experiences showed him a level of empathy that allows him to understand people from a wide variety of backgrounds. Jeffrey is passionate about helping families support each other to survive and thrive throughout their life.
In addition to counseling, Jeffrey loves taking care of his plants and spoiling his cat. He and his wife often try to find ways to travel now that they have both graduated from school.
